The F\u00f6ldv\u00e1ry Castle is of exceptional historical, artistic and natural value. All participants and guests are required to comply with the following house rules when attending events held in the castle and on its grounds, or when using the premises for hire or staying overnight.<\/p>

The purpose of these rules is to protect the castle building, its furnishings, works of art and grounds, and to ensure the peace and quiet of the surrounding area and the safety of guests.<\/p>

1. General rules of conduct<\/h2>

1.1. When using the castle and the entire grounds, all guests are required to respect the value of the historic building, the works of art and the protected natural environment.<\/p>

1.2. It is prohibited to engage in any activity that contravenes any legislation or undermines public order or public safety.<\/p>

1.3 Guests must comply with all instructions given by the staff.<\/p>

1.4. The CUSTOMER bears full responsibility for their own conduct, as well as that of their guests and associates.<\/p>

2. Rest and limit noise pollution<\/h2>

2.1. Any activity involving noise \u2013 in particular fireworks, musical performances, loud music, sound systems and the use of the swimming pool \u2013 is strictly prohibited in the castle courtyard and outdoor areas after 22:00.<\/p>

2.2. In the event of a breach of the noise control regulations, the event may be suspended immediately, which will give rise to a liability for damages.<\/p>

2.3. The CUSTOMER accepts full responsibility for compliance with this rule.<\/p>

3. Air conditioning and windows<\/h2>

3.1. The castle is air-conditioned using a VRV system. To ensure peace and quiet in the neighbourhood, guests are not permitted to open the windows or leave the doors open for prolonged periods. The general operating temperature of the castle, in the interests of energy efficiency and sustainability, is approximately:<\/p>

  • During the winter months:<\/strong> 20\u201324 \u00b0C<\/li>
  • During the summer months, in an air-conditioned room:<\/strong> 22\u201326 \u00b0C<\/li><\/ul>
    \u00a0<\/div>

    3.2. The CUSTOMER shall be obliged to reimburse any additional operating costs arising from a breach of this rule.<\/p>

    4. Protection of the castle's equipment and artefacts<\/h2>

    4.1. The CUSTOMER is obliged to use the castle building, its furnishings and equipment for their intended purposes, and to take particular care to safeguard the works of art of exceptional value housed there.<\/p>

    4.2. In the event of any damage, whether accidental or deliberate, caused to the castle, its furnishings or works of art, the CUSTOMER shall be obliged to compensate the full amount of the damage in full.<\/p>

    4.3. The amount of compensation:<\/p>

    • in the case of a work of art, the estimated minimum value as recorded in the F\u00f6ldv\u00e1ry Auction House\u2019s register,<\/p><\/li>

    • in the case of other items, the cost of repair or replacement as determined by the HOST.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      4.4. The amount of compensation must be paid by bank transfer within 8 (eight) days of receiving a written demand from the HOST.<\/p>

      5. Order of hotel rooms<\/h2>

      5.1. Registration: from 3.00 pm
      Check-out: by 11.00 at the latest<\/p>

      5.2. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire castle; it is permitted only in the designated smoking areas.<\/p>

      5.3. The use of electric cooking appliances, heaters or other high-power appliances in the rooms is not permitted.<\/p>

      5.4. The layout of the rooms must not be altered, and no furniture, decorations or other items may be removed from the rooms.<\/p>

      5.5. In the event of the loss of a key or access card, the guest is obliged to reimburse the full cost of replacing the lock or issuing a replacement card.<\/p>

      6. Use of the Castle Park and the Ancient Park<\/h2>

      6.1. Vandalism of the park\u2019s plants, flowerbeds, trees and historic garden features is strictly prohibited.<\/p>

      6.2. Feeding, disturbing or startling the animals in the park \u2013 particularly those in the deer enclosure \u2013 is strictly prohibited.<\/p>

      6.3. Feeding or disturbing the animals is strictly prohibited. Guard dogs may be present on the premises; they may bite.<\/p>

      6.4. Visitors may only stay on the designated routes. Entry to nature conservation areas is prohibited.<\/p>

      7. Use of pools<\/h2>

      7.1. The swimming pool may only be used as part of the service, subject to the HOST\u2019s prior authorisation.<\/p>

      7.2. Use of the swimming pool is strictly prohibited after 10.00 pm.<\/p>

      7.3. Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. Children may only be in the swimming pool and its immediate surroundings under constant adult supervision.<\/p>

      8. Health and safety and fire safety regulations<\/h2>

      8.1. Compliance with fire safety and health and safety regulations is mandatory. Escape routes and emergency exits must be kept clear at all times.<\/p>

      8.2. The use of candles, torches, barbecues and smoke machines is strictly PROHIBITED throughout the entire grounds of the castle. Should the fire alarm system be triggered, the client must reimburse the castle for the fire brigade\u2019s call-out costs and any fines incurred.<\/p>

      8.3. The use of pyrotechnic devices (fireworks, firecrackers, indoor pyrotechnics) is strictly prohibited throughout the entire grounds of the castle.<\/p>

      9. Liability and legal consequences<\/h2>

      9.1. The CUSTOMER bears full financial and legal responsibility for compliance with the house rules.<\/p>

      9.2. In the event of a breach of the rules, the HOST is entitled to:<\/p>

      • to terminate the event or service with immediate effect,<\/p><\/li>

      • to terminate the legal relationship with immediate effect,<\/p><\/li>

      • to claim full compensation for the damage caused.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        9.3. Termination of the service does not exempt the user from their obligation to pay compensation and fees.<\/p>

        10. Final provisions<\/h2>

        10.1. Compliance with the house rules is a mandatory condition for attending an event, renting the premises or staying in the accommodation.<\/p>

        10.2. By signing the contract, the CUSTOMER declares that they have read and understood the house rules (General Terms and Conditions) and accept them as binding upon themselves and their guests.<\/p>

        10.3. A breach of the house rules constitutes a serious breach of contract.<\/p>

        10.4. The Customer is obliged to report any complaints regarding the service immediately upon becoming aware of them, where possible, whilst the event is still in progress, to the Service Provider\u2019s representative so that the Service Provider may investigate the complaint and, if necessary, remedy it.<\/p>

        10.5. The Service Provider shall be liable only for damages arising from a provable, wilful breach of contract occurring within its own sphere of interest, or from defective performance attributable to it under the contract, provided that such damages are credibly substantiated (by means of photographs or certified measurements).\u00a0<\/p>

        10.6. The Service Provider shall not be obliged to pay damages or provide any other form of compensation in respect of claims which, on the basis of the available evidence, cannot be unequivocally substantiated, or in respect of which the Service Provider\u2019s liability cannot be credibly established.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
