Auction guide

How to participate in our auctions?

At Földváry Castle auctions, there are several ways to join the bidders:

  1. In person on the spot
  2. Online via the auction platform
  3. In the form of a written purchase order
  4. With telephone participation

Registration is required to start bidding! Which you can do now by clicking here.

Registration is extremely simple, takes just a few minutes and only needs to be done once. To bid on an auction, once registered, you need to log in to your personal page and request a "bid reel serial number"which the system will automatically generate for you. This bid dial number will identify you in the auction, preserving your Incognito.

From From our new guests when you apply for a bidding wallet for the first time, we will also ask you for a copy of your ID card, which you can easily upload into the system.

Important: Registration and application for a reel serial number must be completed at least 24 hours before the auction.

How to bid in person?

The most exciting part of the auction. If you have pre-registered for the auction and applied for a bidding disc, we will be waiting for you in the lobby to hand you your personal bidding disc. All you have to do is find a comfortable seat in the hall and enjoy an experience guaranteed to captivate you! Our colleagues will keep bringing the champagne and the artworks, presenting them one by one and you can bid on the artwork you like by raising your dial. At the end of the auction, you can take the artwork home as soon as you have paid for it, by card or bank transfer! 🙂 It's good to participate in person because no photo or video can reproduce the true colours and charm of the artwork, which you can enjoy on the spot and decide immediately whether you like it or not. When bidding, please always check the picture on the Led wall to make sure that your reel number is the winning one. The information displayed on the Led wall is always the reference.

You can also bid online

If you don't want to or can't come in person, you can bid online.Just log in to our app where you are registered and if you have a dial-in number, you can start bidding online.

  • On the online interface, you can view the lots put up for auction in order, with their photos, current price and next bidding step.
