Bálint Hirkó: He studied art with his mother, the painter Mária Kun, and under the guidance of László Hefter and Sándor Farsang at the Győr Artists' Circle. Most recently, in the spring of 2023, he organized a large-scale exhibition entitled Győr in Gold, where he captured the city's iconic buildings and patinated streets from a novel perspective. In the tradition of landscape painting, he depicts nature.
His work mixes romantic and impressionistic features with elaborate realistic effects.
His themes are drawn from the world of inter-island landscapes, riversides and fish farms. He currently has several galleries
which have group exhibitions of his paintings across the country. He is listed in the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Hungarian Art.
