How do I bid at Földváry Auction House?

Welcome to the world of Földváry Auction House! Here we show you step-by-step how you can bid validly on our works of art - either online, in person or over the phone. The correctness of the bidding is guaranteed by an irrevocable notary on the spot.

1️⃣ Login or Register

Only logged in users can bid.

- - If your name already appears where the button is, you are logged in.
  - If not, click on the "Log in" button at the top of the website.
  - If you've registered before but can't remember your password, ask for password reminder.
  - If you are not yet a registered user, select the "Registration" and fill in the data.
  - Even if you don't want to bid, it's still worth registering, because you'll find lots of good information in our newsletter.

2️⃣ Request a lot number - entry to the bid - even online -

After registration separately before each auction "Request a disc" button on the main page to get a bid price.

- - The dial number is the prerequisite for participation in auctions - whether you want to bid online, in person or by phone.
  - You need to upload for the first time a copy of your identity documents, because all bids are notarised legal declarations.
  - This is to protect your security - only real people can participate in the auction, where they can only bid responsibly.

3️⃣ Entry to the auction

If you are already a previously requested dial number, we will deliver it to you personally, after identification, before the auction, in a matter of moments.

If you have previously did not request a dial number, you can do so in person at the moment of entry to the auction

- - please arrive early, as registration can be time-consuming in case of high interest
  - have your documents ready to identify yourself

3️⃣ How the auction starts

Bidding on all screens, whether locally or by following our website from home, starts automatically, terms and conditions:

- - enter the https://foldvaryaukcio.hu/ go to
  - be logged in (point 1 username, password)
  - have a valid dial number for this auction that you have already redeemed (point 2)
  - If any of these are not present in the system warns..

4️⃣ Online licit

It is the most popular form of bidding, because simple and secure and anonymous

- - Bidding will start automatically at the advertised time
  - all data and bids are visible on the screen
  - bidding at the touch of a button
  - you can see and hear what is happening in the room
  - immediate notification with payment link if you win a bid

5️⃣ Buy to let bid

In your absence we bid for you, representing your interests, get the best price for your artwork!

If you are logged in and have a dial-in number, you can record a buy order with one click:

- - go to the page of the selected object
  - click on the buy order button
  - specify the maximum limit up to which we will represent you in the bidding
  - If you are the winner, you will be notified immediately when the bidding is closed and you can pay the purchase price online.

6️⃣ Personal bidding

Perhaps this is the most exciting part of the auction, as it is a great programme, a real thrill ride, and a race that is not to be missed!

- - arrive on time
  - come with a driver so we can toast
  - change your auction dial number
  - you can raise it in the room if you really want to bid

All auctions are notarially validated, so bids cannot be withdrawn and the winning bid is subject to payment.

How does the bidding itself work?

- - All items on the starting price start.
  - The prices are as follows with bids rise or even fall in the event of a negative bid:

- - For the highest bid, the auctioneer warns three times - "First... Second... No one more for the third time" - and by hammer blow close the bidding.

What happens if I win the bid?

- - - The system automatically e-mail notification sent. included with payment link, which allows you to pay instantly for an online payment system using the object you won.
    - Additional payment methods:
      - credit card (on the spot),
      - cash (on the spot),
      - bank transfer (to the bank account provided). within 8 days
    - Total amount to be paid = strike price + 23% auction commission (VAT included).

Important information!

- - Bidding is not possible without registration and dial-in.
  - Backtracking is not allowed -
  - the bid constitutes a notarised offer, subject to payment.
  - For works of art marked "VALID" specific rules apply (e.g. they cannot be taken out of the country).
