If you are dreaming of a fairytale wedding in a castle, look no further, you have found the perfect venue! Built in 1870, the castle underwent a complete renovation from 2023-24, preserving its original charm and atmosphere. The interiors have been beautifully covered with Versace and Roberto Cavalli tiles, and the ceilings are decorated with Murano Italian crystal chandeliers. The living rooms have been completely renovated and furnished with period furniture, creating a true Versailles atmosphere. Our kitchen has become the most modern kitchen in the region, where our professional chefs ensure that each dish is prepared with the highest quality, fresh ingredients and special attention.
The castle is fully air-conditioned, so you and your guests can enjoy the perfect temperature even in the hottest weather.
A Our 2.6 hectare park can be a great venue for the ceremony, the photo shoot and of course the after party until dawn. Whether you want to make your vows in a garden full of spring flowers, a balmy summer evening, among the falling autumn leaves or in a winter wonderland, the Five Gorges Castle offers a spectacular setting all year round. Our soon-to-be-constructed rose garden will be a wonderful photo opportunity, while our tennis courts, sandy beach volleyball court, playground and summer pool promise a pleasant stay. Our elegant ballroom 160 persons and their most important family members 14 specially decorated choose from our rooms. For newlyweds and immediate family, we have 3 exciting themed suites.

At Földváry Castle, a dream wedding lasts three days. For the preparations, we provide the venue from Friday morning, including packing up, until Sunday evening and we are at your disposal with our full staff. If you rent the castle for this period, you will enjoy the exclusivity of a fully equipped and fully catered wedding. With 14 hotel rooms and all the available luxuries of the castle, we can provide all this for a total price of €6,000 per person. The price includes the chateau, preparation of the rooms, cleaning, garden tidying before and after and full private use, taking into account that the owner of the chateau lives in a separate part of the chateau. The price does not include food and beverages and any additional services ordered separately.
We are convinced that the high amount of money paid for such an event and the outstanding importance of the event in one's life, requires the newlyweds and close friends to "live" the event, not to make it a rush that ends in the blink of an eye. That's why we don't rent out our castle for an evening for such a special occasion, nor do we do a marquee wedding. We want the experience to be complete, for everyone to enjoy the joy of preparation and the reward of relaxation around the big day.
It is highly recommended to hire a wedding planner, the staff of the castle can really help you with the organisation, but unfortunately not with the organisation!
The Castle is an adult-friendly venue, and due to the fragility of the exhibits, children under 12 years of age are not welcome.
OUR DISCOUNTED WEDDING PLANNING SERVICES
Our wedding planning service 1,000 € / occasion. This service covers all the organisational tasks that may arise during the wedding and provides a personal presence throughout the wedding. The price does not include selected performers and other services (e.g. flower ordering, photographer, airport transfers, catering).

Planning and coordination: Our staff will help you plan the smallest details and will be present during the wedding to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Decoration and decoration: Although our castle is impressive in its own right, the right decoration can add to its splendour. Our staff will help you to decorate your venue in an optimal and cost-effective way, according to the style of the couple and the theme of the wedding. Not only can we help you select and commission the right service provider, we can also manage the decoration process.
Catering: The castle has a fully equipped kitchen and cocktail bar, and our professionals guarantee healthy and delicious meals. Our mission is to ensure that the menu served perfectly matches the tastes of the newlyweds and the atmosphere of the wedding. Our wine list includes both Hungarian and international wines, while our cocktail bar offers the finest spirits combined with professional service.
Photo and video services: The Földváry castle provides a stunning backdrop for taking pictures of the year. Our staff will help you find the right photographer and/or videographer to maximise the opportunities offered by the castle.
Programme management: Of course, there is no wedding without music, so we can help you find a live band or DJ, and there is also the possibility of fireworks or horse-drawn carriage rides. Our dance floor with sound equipment is suitable for any performer.
Accommodation coordination: Our castle offers free accommodation for the couple's guests during the event. There are 14 rooms available in the castle and 53 more rooms are available for a fee at the Hotel Garzonpláza **** in Győr. Guests will be transported free of charge by our exclusive minibus, which will be shuttled continuously throughout the evening.
Transfer: As part of our service, we can help you organise a cost-effective transfer to ensure that all guests can get to their destination easily and comfortably.
The Castle is an adult-friendly venue, and due to the fragility of the exhibits, children under 12 years of age must be under strict adult supervision.

More than 15 years of experience in the field of wedding planning, hotel management and catering. Graduated in Italy he spent more than a decade abroad in England, where he gained a wide range of professional experience. For eight years, he has been part of the Manager of the four-star Garzon Plaza Hotel, where it has organised and hosted numerous events and conferences, including national and international sporting events and weddings. He has previously managed Földváry castle for two wedding seasons and following the renovation, he continues to work as the castle's event organiser.
