...and make your dreams come true with us! You can use the exclusive location for the wedding season 2024 together with our professional wedding planner. Our event organiser at the castle, Marianna Ivánkovics, has more than 10 years of experience and guarantees that everything will be perfect from the smallest details to the end of the night, so you only have to focus on the unforgettable moments. The catering, which is up to the standard of the castle, is the responsibility of master chef Péter Suga and his team, so that every dish served is prepared with the best quality products, fresh ingredients and special attention. By prior arrangement, you can choose from three menu options (traditional, gourmet, aristocratic) the one that best suits your taste.

Our 2.6 hectares of historic parkland can be an excellent venue for the ceremony and, of course, the celebration afterwards until dawn. Whether you want to say your eternal vows in our garden filled with spring flowers, on a balmy summer evening, amongst falling autumn leaves or in a winter wonderland, Öttevény Castle offers an unrivalled setting all year round. Our elegant ballroom can accommodate 160 guests and your most important family members can choose from our 14 specially decorated hotel rooms, including 3 suites with Versace bathrooms. For the bride and groom, our exclusive 'Honeymoon' suite with its intimate atmosphere is the perfect choice for their first night as a married couple.

Visit us and be enchanted by the picturesque beauty of our castle. The whole location can be hired from 1 May 2024 at a very reasonable price of €4000 per event, or if you want a truly complex castle experience, it can also be hired for a whole weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun) for €8000.

The castle is currently undergoing a complete renovation and therefore cannot be visited at the moment, with a grand opening in full splendour scheduled for 30 April 2024.

The rental of the entire castle including the wedding planner costs 4000 EUR per night or 8000 EUR for the weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday).

Our wedding planning services are free of charge, but of course you have to pay for the selected artists and other services such as ordering flowers, photographer, airport transfers, catering.

Planning and coordination: our staff will help you plan down to the smallest detail and will be present throughout the wedding to ensure that everything goes according to plan, helping you plan the event down to the minute to eliminate even the smallest margin for error. Decoration and decor: Although our castle is impressive in itself, the right decoration can enhance its appearance even further. Our staff will help to decorate the venue to suit the style of the couple and the theme of the wedding in the most cost-effective way. We not only help to select and order the right service provider, but also manage the decoration process. Catering: The castles have fully equipped kitchens and cocktail bars, and our specialists guarantee the preparation of fresh, healthy and delicious food. Our mission is to perfectly match the menu served to the taste of the bride and groom and the atmosphere of the wedding. In our wine cellar you will find the best wines from both Hungarian and international wineries. In our cocktail bar we offer the best spirits, combined with professional service. Photo and video services: The Földváry Castle offers an impressive backdrop for taking photos and videos. Our staff will help you find the right photographer and/or videographer to make the most of the possibilities the castle offers. Event organisation: Of course there is no wedding without music, so we will be happy to help you find a live band or DJ, plus there is the possibility of fireworks or carriage rides. Our dance floor is equipped with the right sound equipment and is suitable for satisfying and recording any kind of performance. Accommodation coordination: During the event our castle offers free accommodation for your guests, a total of 14 rooms are available in the castle, and 53 additional rooms are available at the Hotel Garzonplaza**** in Győr for a fee, where we transport guests free of charge with our exclusive minibus that shuttles throughout the evening. Our staff will help you to plan accommodation for your relatives, including accommodation in other hotels. Transfers: Our service includes the organisation of transfers at a reasonable cost, so that everyone can get to the place easily and comfortably.

We will help with the selection and ordering, but the cost of the services must be paid by the client in all cases.


Marianna Ivankovits

Castle Manager

She has more than 15 years of experience in wedding planning, hotel management and catering. After graduating in Italy, she spent more than a decade in England, where she gained a wealth of professional experience. For the last eight years she has been the manager of the Garzon Plaza, a four-star hotel belonging to the group, where she has organised and run numerous events and conferences, including national and international sporting events and weddings. In the past she has managed the Földváry Castle for two wedding seasons and, after the renovation, she will continue to work enthusiastically as event manager and castle manager.
