Enikő Kónya
Enikő Kónya is a painter living in Szentendre. Born in Budapest in 1961. She is a civil engineer with a degree in law.
He started his artistic studies at a painting school in zugló with Zsófia Varga, then he graduated from the painting department of the Szamalk-Szaléz High School of Fine and Applied Arts, where his teachers were Andrea Cecilia Szabó, Nikoletta Kováts and János Zoltán Kovács.
His work reveals a highly experimental artist who is bold enough to explore multiple forms of image-making. There is a strong constructivist spirit behind his work, and although this might seem to give his art a certain closure, in fact, if we step back from the concept and look only at the paintings themselves, we see that the construction of the pictorial content is light, soft and almost musical in rhythm, just like the works of his predecessors in Szentendre, such as the work of his highly esteemed Dezső Korniss or the constructivist painting of Endre Bálint.
He is a member of the National Association of Hungarian Artists, and in 2024 he won the main prize of the Ferenc Kóka Inspiration Competition.
Her work is regularly exhibited in solo and group exhibitions
