Zsolt Malasits was born in 1961 in Győr, Hungary. He is a painter who lives and works here. He studied fine arts in Finland from 1989-1993 and has been making artworks of artistic quality since 1984. His applied techniques are: ceramic, stone, bronze sculptures, handcrafted paintings on paper in oil, on canvas in acrylic and oil. In 1998 he opened the Malasits Gallery in the historic centre of Győr, where he still works today. His main goal is to search and find the "BEING". He has organised numerous solo and group exhibitions, cultural programmes and charity events and donations. He has enhanced the reputation of the city of Győr at several international art festivals abroad. In 2021, to celebrate Győr's 750th anniversary, the city council will commission a large painting (185 x 700 cm) for the Mayor's Meeting Room in the City Hall to commemorate the 750th anniversary of Győr.

In 2023, he is invited to exhibit at the Liszt Hungarian Cultural Institute in Helsinki. He has exhibited in almost all European countries outside his home country. www.malasitsfestmény.hu
